We work closely with the Home Office, the Youth Justice Board for England and Wales and the Ministry of Justice, to ensure that our approach to regimes and designs reflect best practice in residential care to prevent re-offending.

Located near Rugby, Warwickshire, Rainsbrook STC opened in July 1999 and was originally designed to accommodate  40 young males. In 2002 the centre expanded to accommodate a total of 76 boys and girls. In October 2006, Rainsbrook STC opened Chadlington, a purpose built mother and baby unit to care for detained young mothers and their babies, as well as those in the final stages of pregnancy.
