Job overview

 We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible person to join our teaching and learning team. The successful candidate will provide assistance for students who require support with the understanding and application of GCSE mathematics. They will be involved with developing, planning, delivering effective and high quality learning support for students that arestudying GSCE maths in accordance with the WMG Academy curriculum. They will be responsible for the progress and achievement of a group of students through working with them as a learning coach.

WMG Academy for Young Engineers Solihull is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with a sixth form in the West Midlands, serving students from the age of 14-18. The secondary school, situated in Solihull is a University Technical College (UTC), led by businesses and a university.  Partners at WMG Academy for Young Engineers Solihull include The University of Warwick, WMG, National Grid, Rolls Royce and Jaguar Land Rover.

WMG Academy for Young Engineers Solihull opened in 2016. There is also another WMG Academy in Coventry, which opened in 2014. The Academy has purpose-built learning facilities, including dedicated engineering equipment and professional working spaces substituting classrooms.
