Driven by the demand and commitment from parents and the local community, EBN Academy

2 opened in September 2015. This 13–16 school will be fully inclusive and co-educational.

This is an Alternative Provision School in Birmingham for up to 90 pupils aged 13-16 years.

The EBN Academy is part of the family of Secondary Schools and Academies across the

East Area of Birmingham, that collaborate on a range of curriculum and pupil support

areas including behaviour and attendance and post-16 provision. The school serves young

people who are currently disengaged from mainstream education; those whose needs are

not being met fully by their mainstream school; and those who currently have to travel out

of the area due to a lack of suitable places.

MATHS TEACHER

Required from Easter 2018

Salary – UPS or unqualifi ed teacher status (Dependent upon experience)

A teacher is required for the above subject to join our outstanding team. The successful

applicant will be a consistently good and outstanding practitioner. You will be committed

to raising the achievement of all learners by ensuring teaching of maths is of the highest

quality and is innovative, engaging and enjoyable. Key qualities will include; high

expectations of yourself and others with a strong determination to raise standards and

accelerate progress in a co-educational setting.

This will be a very exciting opportunity for an ambitious and dynamic individual who is

looking to fully utilise and further develop their skills in an innovative setting. The successful

candidate will have the full support of the senior leadership team and lots of professional

development opportunities.
