Job overview

A unique opportunity for a pioneering spirit

Driven by the demand and commitment from parents and the local community, EBN Academy 2 opened in September 2015. This 13-16 school will be fully inclusive and co-educational.

This is an Alternative Provision School in Birmingham for up to 90 pupils aged 13-16 years. The EBN Academy is part of the family of Secondary Schools and Academies across the East Area of Birmingham, that collaborate on a range of curriculum and pupil support areas including behaviour and attendance and post-16 provision. The school serves young people who are currently disengaged from mainstream education; those whose needs are not being met fully by their mainstream school, and those who currently have to travel out of the area due to a lack of suitable places.

Joining our outstanding Maths team, you will be a consistently outstanding practitioner with commitment to raising the achievement of all learners by ensuring teaching is of the highest quality, innovative, engaging and enjoyable. Key qualities will include high expectations of yourself and others with a strong determination to raise standards and accelerate progress in a co-educational setting.

This is a very exciting opportunity for an ambitious and dynamic individual who is looking to fully utilise and further develop their skills in an innovative setting. You will have the full support of the senior leadership team and lots of professional development opportunities.

The application pack can be obtained from Laura Donohoe: ldonohoe@ebnfs2.org
