Cover Teacher of Maths Required for January 2018 in Unique City of London Location

We are seeking a highly motivated and inspiring Maths Teacher who has a passion for teaching Year 5 – Year 8 senior maths with experience of 11+ and Common Entrance. Starting January 2018, initially for one term. 

You will be joining a forward-looking, innovative Prep-School, within a thriving and supportive department, teaching bright, motivated boys and girls.  

Set in the grounds of the iconic St Paul’s Cathedral, you will enjoy the unique experience of school assemblies in what we affectionately call our school chapel, and be a member of a friendly, vibrant and collegiate common room. 

Working in a friendly, warm environment, you would be welcome to be involved in the whole life of St Paul’s Cathedral School, playing to your strengths and interests where possible.

About St Paul's Cathedral School

St Paul’s Cathedral School is a co-educational, Church of England, independent preparatory day school for around 250 children aged 4-13, located in the City of London. It has boarding provision for St Paul’s Cathedral boy choristers, who sing daily at the cathedral, from the age of seven. From September 2023, girl choristers have begun to sing in the cathedral.

The school is owned by the Dean and Chapter of St Paul’s Cathedral; its governing body is made up of five Canons and seven lay members, who are chaired by the Dean. St Paul's can trace its origins back to the 12th century and it existed for several centuries solely to educate the cathedral choristers. It has been co-educational since 2002.
