Maths Teacher
We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and inspirational Maths teacher to join our committed team of practitioners in delivering a curriculum which informs, transforms and generates a lifelong love of learning from September 2018.
The successful candidate will have the ability to teach across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 having subject knowledge of a range of qualifications including GCSE and Functional Skills.
Applications from NQTs are welcome as the school has a very strong and well-developed NQT training and support programme. A management/ leadership allowance may also be available for an outstanding candidate able to take on additional responsibility.
The Maths Secondary Curriculum is an important and integral part of the school at Gretton, with all students studying a variety of Examinations and Specifications across the Key Stages.
The successful candidate will need to work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an engaging and contextualised curriculum.
Gretton School is an independent school for children aged 5 to 19 with a diagnosis of an Autistic Spectrum Condition, with small class sizes and high staffing levels of support.
Gretton School received a “Good” in all aspects following its last Ofsted inspection in February 2017 and is now working towards being graded as “Outstanding” at its next inspection.

Gretton School is a specialist day and residential school for children and young people with autistic spectrum conditions (ASC), specifically high functioning autism and Asperger’s Syndrome.
The school provides individually tailored programmes of education, care and therapy for students between the ages of 5 and 19 years old.
