Bishopshalt is an established, successful and oversubscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive school with 1300 on roll including a Sixth Form of 350+. The school is situated in outstandingly attractive grounds in a conservation area on the edge of London and achieves examination results well in excess of local and national averages.

In addition to ‘Sportsmark’ we have also been awarded Arts Council ‘Artsmark Gold’ and the Religious Studies Quality Mark Award. In February 2012, Ofsted judged us to be a Recent OFSTED reports in 2012 and 2016 judged the school to be GOOD in all categories and acknowledged “this is an ambitious school which places the success of each pupil at the core of its work" Dec 2016.

Required for September 2021, we are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, dynamic, highly motivated, committed professional with the ambition and drive necessary for this role.  The successful candidate will be, or will be developing to become an outstanding classroom practitioner.  The ability to teach Maths to Key 5 is advantageous but not a prerequisite. All members of the department are expected to support the Head of Mathematics improving the Teaching and Learning within faculty.

Bishopshalt School is a mixed, non-denominational academy secondary school and sixth form for pupils aged 11-18. It is located in Uxbridge, Middlesex, and has about 1,300 pupils.

The school was established as Uxbridge County School in the Greenway in 1907. The former grammar school became a comprehensive school In 1977. It is now operated by the school’s academy trust.
