We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Maths to join a successful department in terms of attainment and progress. The department was in the top 6% nationally for progress in 2016 and we are awaiting confirmation of national data for 2017. All students study GCSE Statistics as well as Maths at Key Stage 4. Maths is also extremely popular in the Sixth Form, where Maths, Further Maths and Core Maths are studied. Maths is taught in sets to from Year 7 to GCSE with some setting at AS level. The department contributes to the outreach work of the Teaching School, supporting and collaborating with other schools notably on primary transition. This work is led by a Maths Specialist Leader in Education.
