About the School:

Cambian New Elizabethan School is a day school that offers outstanding opportunities for boys and girls with a diagnosis of communication difficulties, autism spectrum conditions, complex needs, challenging behaviour, and other associated conditions. We have 45 students on roll, aged 7 – 19 who come from a range of Local Authorities within a reasonable travelling distance of the school. Our school is very popular with parents and Local Authorities.

Set in large, private grounds amid a campus of historic buildings in rural Hartlebury, Worcestershire, Cambian New Elizabethan School is a relaxing place of learning, where young people receive the specialist education and combined multidisciplinary care they need from our onsite team of Clinical experts. The site has undergone extensive refurbishment in the last few years including the construction of additional teaching and classroom space.

About the Role:

An outstanding maths teacher is required to teach our Secondary age students.
You must have a passion for Special Educational Needs, particularly students with Autistic Spectrum Conditions and be flexible and adaptable in your approach to Teaching and Learning. Applications are welcomed from NQT’s and we have strong proven track record of nurturing and developing NQT’s.

A good subject knowledge is required for the successful maths teacher and the ability to work as part of a team is key.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a suitable candidate with the relevant experience to add to our team. A passion and understanding of data and assessment and how this dovetails with Teaching and Learning would be advantageous. All of our staff need to be flexible, adaptable and resilient to the demands of the post.

• Qualified in subject specialism
• DBS cleared and satisfactory references
• Ability to work on own initiative
