Smart Teachers is recruiting for a holistic Maths Teacher / Maths Key Stage Coordinator to join an inclusive and diverse secondary school in Westminster, from January 2017. The school is situated in a beautiful leafy area of London in a newly modernised state of the art building with fantastic facilities. The successful Maths Teacher / Maths Key Stage Coordinator will join a proactive Maths department and will be supported by the Head of Mathematics and STEM coordinator. Starting from January 2017 on a full time long term contract, the Maths Teacher may also be offered a permanent position at the school.

  • Teaching Maths from KS3 up to KS5
  • Support the overall leadership and management of the maths department
  • Support the development, planning and implementation of STEM/numeracy curriculum
  • Full time, long term role from January 2017 until the end of the academic year with the potential to go permanent
  • Salary from £28,098 with TLR opportunities available

In order to be considered for this role, the successful Maths Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor of Education/ PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree
  • Proven experience teaching the UK curriculum
  • NQTs Welcome to apply
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS
