Maths teacher sought for Bavarian (German) Curriculum for a well established Schools' network in Germany, Munich.
This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in a big schools' network.
The Phorms concept is founded on bilingual education (German-English) and the fostering of individual talent in an all-day environment. The school is dedicated to providing academic excellence and a learning environment where children can develop and utilise their social competences. The trusting relationship established between teachers, students and parents sets them apart. The school follows the Bavarian curriculum that leads to the Bavarian final exams (Abitur). Additionally, they offer the IB Diploma Programme for especially gifted students.
The Phorms Education network consists of a number of private schools in Germany (Berlin, Erlenbach, Frankfurt am Main, Hamburg, Munich and Heidelberg) covering all age groups.
For January 2019 at their Secondary School in Munich they are looking for a qualified
Secondary Teacher of Mathematics (Year 5 - Year 11)
Your profile & your tasks
- you are a qualified secondary teacher who holds a Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Mathematics
- you have a Certificate of Education(PGCE) and a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- you have a passion for teaching and the ability to provide an inspiring education
- you can teach Maths up to year 12
- you have min. 2 years of teaching experience
- you are motivated to secure the academic and emotional progress of your students
- you are dedicated to enabling all students to achieve their potential
- you have an interest in learning German
