Required for September 2019 Are you a creative and enthusiastic teacher looking to play a key role in an expanding Mathematics department? The Laurels School is seeking to appoint an energetic, creative and inspiring teacher of Mathematics with the drive to support a growing department at an exciting time in the School’s development. The Laurels School was founded in 2013 to combine high academic standards and personal development within a Catholic framework. The KS3 SOW is designed to ensure all students develop their enjoyment of Mathematics and build a strong foundation of knowledge. In KS4 students follow the Edexcel GCSE syllabus with the option of also sitting the AQA Level 2 Certificate in Further Mathematics. In the Sixth Form, students can study both Mathematics and Further Mathematics A-level (Edexcel). The successful candidate will be someone with a proven track record in raising achievement and will have the skills and attributes necessary to motivate students to understand and realise their ambitions. They will teach Mathematics from KS3-KS5 and will relish working in an environment that is forward-thinking, hard-working and fast-paced.
