Vision for Education are looking to recruit a passionate Maths Teacher to join an independent special school in Silverstone, starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teacher looking for their next challenge, and the position has the potential to be made permanent for the right candidate.
The role
The successful Maths teacher will teach across multiple class groups within Key Stage 4 (KS4). They need to be a resilient individual with experience delivering across abilities and strong classroom management skills.
The school
The school is an independent special school for pupils with a range of social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. The school supports its pupils to fulfil their potential by giving them unconditional support, providing them with good quality teaching and empowering them to effectively manage their own behaviour.
The school has been recently inspected and rated ‘good’ by Ofsted.
Requirements
To be considered for the Maths Teacher role you must:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
• Be adaptable and flexible
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
