Hours 37.5 hours per week

Priory Group are looking for a passionate and ambitious Maths Teacher for our specialist school.  Joining us as a Teacher of Maths, you will be eligible for a SEN allowance along with fantastic company benefits.

Unsted Park School is a specialist residential and day school/6th Form College for children and young people with high functioning autism and associated co morbid conditions such as Dyslexia, OCD and ADHD.  We are committed to providing the highest level of education and care in a safe, positive environment and it is our intention that every pupil will achieve their full potential in both academic and personal development, take up new challenging goals and work hard to achieve them. 

The successful applicant will be required to manage, lead and deliver the desired curriculum from functional skills through to A Level within the classroom environment. Applications form QTS and NQTs welcome

As a Maths Teacher, you will also be involved in the following:

   You'll provide leadership of your subject area and take responsibility of sharing the drive and outcomes across the staff team;

   You'll be confident with providing outstanding learning opportunities to all pupils;

   Providing regular reporting to the schools SLT with regards to specific area of responsibility;

   Supporting the SLT in implementing the schools polices and ethos;

   Ensuring effective use of resources and allocated budget to meet the needs of the pupils;

   Providing, where required, whole school leadership and oversight of the directed area of responsibility.

This role will suit professional individuals who are prepared to work flexibly in a vibrant, caring and supportive environment.

It is a requirement of the post holder that candidates must have previous experience of working with pupils with SEN as well as experience of whole school practices and initiatives.
