Hillcrest Slinfold is an Ofsted registered children’s home for boys aged 11- 17 years, offering 52-week care and education. It is located just outside the village of Slinfold and is set in beautiful countryside close to the Sussex/Surrey border

A position has arisen for a Maths Teacher in our school. The school recognises the importance of Maths in the curriculum and is looking for a candidate to fully embrace and develop Maths within the school. Subjects are taught in a way which optimises learning with all pupils working at their own level through individualised teaching strategies and differentiated lessons.

You will preferably have experience of teaching pupils with additional educational needs, experience of delivering a specialist curriculum, able to demonstrate a practical and hands on approach to Maths, excellent teaching skills and hold qualified teacher status. Newly Qualified Teachers will be considered,

Optimum class sizes are small, enabling the delivery of personalised learning with the support of Teaching Assistants and Therapists as part of the education team.

The candidate should be willing to deliver a range of differentiated accreditations such as BTEC or unit awards.
