Salary: Circa £30,000 per annum pro rata or an hourly rate of £31.78

We are currently seeking a dynamic, self-motivated and experienced Maths specialist to work as part of the College’s dedicated English and maths team, GEM. There are a range of opportunities including full time, part time and hourly paid timetables.

The successful candidate will be involved in delivering, developing and preparing Functional Skills and Maths GCSE.

Ideally, you will have considerable experience of teaching Maths and have the ability to be creative and adaptable in your approaches to delivery to support the learning of students at varying levels.

In addition to teaching, your role will involve both individual and team support to vocational staff that will need assistance with embedding Maths into their main programme of study.

You will be required to support the diagnostic process and have the knowledge to work with students at a variety of levels. This includes contributing to the quality process by providing evidence of outstanding and innovative schemes of work, lesson plans and individual learning plans.
