Job overview

The Estates department is looking for an experienced, self-motivated, fast working and efficient Mechanic/Grounds Person. This is a dual role which will involve the full maintenance of the Foundation’s; Vans, Minibuses and the Estate’s machinery, along with the development of gardens and grounds (when required) across all school sites.

Reporting to the Grounds Manager, this role will work alongside the other members of the Estates Team and support the Grounds Manager in day-to-day activities.

This role would suit someone with mechanical experience with a particular interest in Agriculture/Horticulture machinery and thrives with a busy and varied workload.

The Mill Hill School Foundation offers education to boys and girls aged between 3 and 18 in its four Schools. The Schools occupy a magnificent 160 acres of beautiful grounds just 10 miles from Central London with easy access to underground and main line stations.

Mill Hill School is the senior school in the Foundation and the largest in our group, catering to boys and girls aged 13-18. We offer weekly and full boarding, although the majority of students are day pupils.
