The Role

Trinity welcomes applications from both Early Career and experienced teachers to ensure the school maintains its balanced mix of staffing. The school is looking for exceptional staff who create a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for all our pupils who come from diverse backgrounds and with a range of abilities.

Due to promotion and maternity arrangements, there are opportunities for both temporary and permanent positions. Teachers who are seeking promotion are also sought with TLRs also available for the right candidates.

We are seeking candidates who are able to teach English (KS3, KS4 and potentially up to Key Stage 5), Media (KS4 and KS5), or a combination of both. At Key Stage 4 GCSE English Language, English Literature and Media Studies are taught. In the school’s Sixth Form, English Literature and Media Studies are available at A Level and Media CamTec at Level 2 and Level 3. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective teaching and learning of pupils across the ability range.

What you will need to succeed:

You will need to exhibit a passion for your subject and radiate creativity and enthusiasm in the classroom. You will have high expectations of yourself and the pupils, and a determination to improve the learning outcomes of all pupils. You will demonstrate a flexible approach to working with other members of staff and be committed to being a part of a team.

About Trinity C of E School

If you’d like to be part of the team at this happy and successful school, we’d be really pleased to hear from you.
