The Creative Media and department are looking for a V/H Media Technician to support our creative media courses for 3 days a week (Approximately 22.2hrs) with the potential to also pick up some V/H instructor delivery.
About the role
We are looking to appoint an outstanding, highly motivated, enthusiastic and skilled Technician to provide technical support, for our creative media department. Candidates need to support our high expectations in supporting our learners both on a campus setting, but also out on location, requiring a high level of technical competence and up to date knowledge of video production, editing techniques. The successful candidates must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and knowledge of working in a production environment and a passion for working with students in a further educational establishment.
Qualifications desired/essential
Essential - Level 4/5 Qualification in Creative media . A Focus towards TV and Film Production, experience and practical application of up to date video, editing skills and sound recording. Showreel of previous production work to demonstrate industry expectations and application. High level technical vocabulary. Previous experience of technician or instructing and facilitating. Be fully proficient in the latest Adobe CC suite of products in particular Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects and Encore including a variety of editing, post production.
Desirable - Industry Experience of either TV and Film production, coaching / instruction of students in the production of projects.
