Ernest Bevin College, whose students are aged between 11-19, is a vibrant and a truly inclusive all boys college with a mixed sixth form.  Based in Tooting, South West London, our college takes pride in having an exceptional level of pastoral care where all staff are dedicated to giving each and every student both a quality learning experience and the life skills that opens doors to any career path they wish to tread in the future.

Our students, governors and staff are now seeking a qualified and committed Mental Health Counsellor and Wellbeing Support. This role will be assisted by our Pastoral teams and Senior Leaders and will report to the Directors of Learning.

A key part of this role involves counselling students for a range of social, emotional and mental health issues and providing students with a safe and non-judgemental way to voice their concerns or worries. As well as work with the pastoral teams (Directors of Learning and Head of Years) to support students on a range of wellbeing and mental health issues that may arise.

We feel fortunate that the college is based in a diverse, vibrant and social community which has an excellent variety of transport links and this makes us easily accessible.  Staff also benefit from our onsite facilities such as a swimming pool and fitness studio which can be used outside of the college day.
