Job overview
Wellington School are looking for an experienced Mental Health Professional who has a proven track record of providing support for young people with mental health conditions (moderate to severe and enduring), as well as experience in delivering training and support in a proactive, preventative capacity.
If you are able to evidence the ability to assess, monitor and manage young people living with mental health difficulties, including crisis response, we would be interested in hearing from you.
This post is full time (35 hours a week) term time only. The role requires some flexibility to work occasional weekends and evenings subject to need.

About Wellington School
Wellington School is a Church of England denominational, co-educational, day and boarding school in Somerset. As of the most recent inspection, there were 900 pupils on the school roll. The school’s motto is the opening of Psalm 127; ‘If God Be Not With Us, Our Labour is in Vain’. The Senior School teaches pupils between the ages of 11-18. The school also offers preparatory facilities from the ages of 3 onwards. Founded in 1837 as a boys school, Wellington has been fully independent and co-educational since 1978. The 35 acre site is a combination of traditional and more recent architecture. The school operates in both a boarding and day capacity.
