Job overview
Vision for Education are recruiting for Mental Health Support Workers to work within a specialist provision in the Newcastle area providing two to one support to adults who have Autism and Mental Health. This is to commence as soon as possible, staff will work from 7.45pm to 8.15am, three or four nights a week, depending the shift pattern.
An ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in working with adults who have Autism and Mental Health needs.
- Experience in providing supported living for adults or young people with special needs
- Flexible approach to working
- A friendly, positive and understanding attitude towards adults with complex needs

All staff we register will undertake a face to face interview and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
