Mentors for Young People who require emotional and behavioural support required in your area.

We are looking for Mentors with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable Young People.

At Targeted Provision, our mission is to raise the standard of  support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK. We keep the team around the child and you will be supported throughout every placement by our team of Support Specialists.

Mentoring with us is a unique opportunity to utilise your previous experience supporting vulnerable and disengaged young people - including care experience children and those with additional needs -  to make a real difference.

Being a Mentor with us will involve being creative and flexible in your delivery and methods of support for a variety of needs. Our Mentors support young people in a variety of settings, providing engagement and social and emotional support. 


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a role supporting vulnerable young people
  • Minimum 2 years mentoring / support experience
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references

It is a strict requirement that you have the ability to work in a way that promotes the health, safety and wellbeing of children and young people.

Pay:

The gross pay for this role will range between £24p/h - £28p/h.

We support a wide range of needs and offer a variety of support for young people, and pay will depend on the specific work being offered. Further information on this can be provided at interview stage

All gross pay offered will be constituted of a base rate + 12.07% holiday pay. 


Employment Status:

  • This position involves engaging with us as a Worker, to provide short-term engagements as and when they arise
  • You will work through a contract for service and will be paid via PAYE
  • We do not offer any set amount of work nor expenses coverage
  • Our insurance covers the work you do for us
