Salary: Ark Main scale 1-6: £24,313- £35,883 or UPS depending on experience

As a teacher of MFL in Ark Charter Academy, you will be instrumental in our mission to provide every student, regardless of their background, a great education and real choices in life. MFL is a popular and successful department within the Academy. This post presents an exciting opportunity to join a passionate department for a 1year fixed term basis to cover maternity leave and teach Spanish. You will be committed to raising aspirations and bringing out the best in all our students and will work in a highly regarded department to teach Spanish. We are seeking to appoint an inspiring and highly motivated MFL teacher, to teach across all year groups and ability ranges.
- Set high expectations so that all students are inspired, motivated and challenged to reach their full potential in Spanish, and in doing so meet their progress and attainment targets
- Plan and teach well-structured, differentiated Spanish lessons that are aligned to the agreed curriculum and cultivate every student’s intellectual curiosity
- Use data to inform teaching and learning, identify areas for intervention and provide feedback to students, staff and families in order to promote progress and outcomes
- Manage behaviour effectively to create a safe, respectful and nurturing environment so that students can focus on learning
