Selattyn C.E. Primary School is a small, friendly school located in the village of Selattyn where it enjoys a unique rural aspect. It is a very popular Church of England School with close links to both the church and the local community. The school has a rural catchment but also draws children from many areas outside the catchment zone.

The school is organised into 3 classes
Class 1 – Reception and Year 1
Class 2 – Year 2 and Year 3
Class 3 – Years 4, 5 and 6

Selattyn is proud of its ‘Family’ system, which groups children right across the school from reception to year six, facilitating true vertical learning and teaching on designated ‘Family’ days and at recreational times. We foster an atmosphere that encourages each pupil’s personal, social and health development, alongside their academic progress. We believe in inclusion and make it work.

We hold strong Christian values which run as threads throughout all that we do and a clear, shared vision that shapes our progress. Our fundamental aim is to nurture and encourage learning for all and to develop each learner to their full potential within a Christian family Ethos, providing support and care alongside challenge, enjoyment and high expectations.
