Great Bedwyn CofE School is an ‘Outstanding’ village school set on the edge of the Savernake Forest within the Marlborough cluster of schools.

We require a catering assistant to serve lunches and clear and clean the kitchen area once finished. 

Pay ; £9.25 per hour - £4,032.11 per annum

Hours; Monday to Friday 11.30am - 1.30pm - total 10 hours per week, term time only (38 weeks per year) Paid weeks 43.6 per year which includes holiday pay.

This is a Permanent position.  A job share would be considered.

The successful candidate will have a calm and positive manner with children and a can do attitude towards the job.

Duties include: 

  •  Serving the children with pre-prepared hot and cold food 
  •  Wash all cutlery, plates, utensils and equipment, load and unload dishwasher regularly 
  • Tidy and clean up after serving lunch including cleaning all surfaces and moping the floor.

We are looking for someone who: 

  • Is reliable, committed and enthusiastic in their approach 
  • Has a natural flair for working with primary school aged children 
  • Has an awareness of child protection policies and procedures
