The successful applicant will:

  • hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and

Due to the promotion of one of our current Pastoral Leaders to the Head of Campus role, we have an opening for an experienced Pastoral Leader to join our wonderful new school. As a pastoral leader in a beginning school, innovative educators have an unequaled opportunity to shape the pastoral direction of the school, its students and families. St Joseph's College is developing a vertical House Pastoral model where pastoral leaders are responsible for mentoring and monitoring of the academic, pastoral and spiritual formation needs of all students in their House from Year 7 until their graduation in Year 12. As a P-12 College there are some P-6 responsibilities in regards formation and inclusion in whole of school activities. However primary care responsibilities are in the middle and senior phases of learning. The role requires the successful applicant to be conversant with positive behaviour for learning strategies as well as innovative in their thought and practice in regards student development and well being.

St Josephs College Coomera is a Brisbane Catholic Education master planned co-educational College that opened in January 2019. The College is located in Coomera on the Northern Gold Coast, 40 minutes south of the Brisbane CBD.
