Our client is an independent non-denominational, co-educational Aboriginal Community School located in regional Queensland. The school is located in an indigenous community west of the QLD Central Coast and the entire school community is seen as the heart of this community. When you become part of this school you will be part of a family of teachers and support staff who happily give their time to supporting students in the classroom. You will be supported with rental subsidy within or outside of the community. 


About the Role:

  • Middle School/Upper Primary Teacher who is able to teach the core subjects of English, Mathematics, Science and HASS.
  • Experience in indigenous education or an interest in being involved in this educational sector would be an advantage
  • A generous remuneration package is provided, including accommodation and the Remote Area Incentive Scheme(RAIS)
  • A relocation allowance will be negotiated with the successful applicant
  • Team oriented and supportive environment


Salary:

The pay-scale is reflective of the applicants teaching experience and in accordance with the EBA (Band 2 Step 1 $86, 000 to Band 3 Step 5 $122,764/year)
