Middle Years (MYP) Mathematics & Science Teacher

ICS Milan is an international school which offers a forward-thinking and exciting educational experience. We are moving into our second year in our journey to full accreditation for the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme. The learning approach applied throughout the school aims to equip students with the values, skills, and experiences to enable them to become successful, mindful and active global citizens. 

ICS is an innovative school which has designers working across all the school implementing our unique design approach. Our focus is on encouraging and developing innovative and creative thinking, problem solving, collaborative working styles and excellent communication skills. Our unique curriculum offers an engaging learning experience, the challenge of developing a real understanding of cultural diversity and the support of an international community. 

We are seeking teachers for September 2019 who are:

- able to inspire and motivate students;

- creative and passionate about teaching and learning;

- interested in contributing to curriculum development and the building of a young school;

- flexible, positive and open-minded;

- willing to share ideas and work closely with a small team of dedicated, enthusiastic professionals;

- keen to live and work in Italy and experience Italian culture

As part of our commitment to our teachers personal and professional development, comprehensive professional development will be provided to the successful candidate, who will :

-be fully qualified and experienced teacher with a relevant subject Degree and a professional teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, teaching diploma or certification

-fluent english speaker and hold a valid EU passport

-have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience in teaching preferably in an IB school

-Preferably have international teaching experience
