Streatham & Clapham High School has a rewarding opportunity for a part-time, D1 qualified (or equivalent) driver to play a key role driving our minibus service.
You will provide a professional driving and chauffeuring service on one of our nine different minibus routes, transporting pupils to and from the school, both in the morning and afternoon.
In addition to your daily duties, there may also be the opportunity to undertake additional hours of work, covering PE fixtures, extra-curricular activities, visits and expeditions. The latter may include weekend commitments and some full weeks away when on expeditions.
You will need to be a positive, reliable and punctual individual with excellent communication skills and a flexible attitude towards working hours. You will possess D1 driving status or equivalent, or higher (PCV), as well as the appropriate clearance to work with young people.
In addition to this, you will have experience of driving vehicles on a commercial basis.

SCHS’s Gymnastics teams, for instance, were the best in England in the 2012 National Gymnastics Competition. However, pupils attain success across the spectrum of activity, from achieving outstanding results in public-speaking competitions, to winning prizes for the crash-testing of vehicles at Imperial College; from gaining awards for eco-action and sustainability, to trekking across the Atlas Mountains in Morocco or to the base camp of Mount Everest.
