St Joseph's College is a vibrant independent day and boarding school in Ipswich providing a broad and seamless education for over 600 boys and girls aged 3 - 18. Our innovative teaching and subsequent success starts in the Prep School and runs all the way through the Senior School and Sixth Form.

Applicant is responsible for safely operating the College Minibus according to a set daily schedule and ensure that the College Minibus is maintained in a  good operating condition. You will collect children from pre-organised pick up points along a specific route, delivering them to College (mornings) and taking those children home in the evening, the College currently has 8 routes that we manage. 

Good communication skills are required as the drivers may need to liaise with parents from time to time residents and members of the public in a courteous and respectful manner. This may include receiving complaints about schedules and levels and quality of service. It is critical for the College Minibus Driver to operate the College Minibus in a safe manner. Failure to ensure the safe passage of students to and from the College, may result in serious injury to a child or young person and/or serious liabilities for the College.

You are required to have, as a minimum, a clean driver’s license and must hold – Category D1 or PSV Category D license.  A Criminal Records Check will be required and two references.
