Job overview

We’re more than a school, we're a community hub.

At the heart of Academy Transformation Trust, Mildenhall College Academy is more than just a school: we’re a community hub serving a semi-rural area. With wide-ranging after-school activities and free late transport home, we deliver a holistic education via our main site and separate Sixth Form Centre – and we do whatever it takes to help our students get ahead.

We are seeking to appoint a part-time Minibus Driver to transport students at the beginning and end of the academy day. Other duties include delivering the post, and collecting documents between our two sites in Mildenhall. A job share would be considered.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of the role, although training will be provided. The driver must hold a current D1 driving licence.

To apply now, please visit www.academytransformationtrust.co.uk/vacancies and complete the online form.

Only Academy or Vacancy Filler application forms will be considered and must be submitted via Vacancy Filler or directly to Mrs Garrad by email: pam.garrad@mca.ATTrust.org.uk

Academy Transformation Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and the successful applicant must undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure and reference checks.

Every child deserves an excellent education and to go to a school that understands them, allows them to thrive and be happy, and helps them to achieve academic success whatever their ability or circumstances. I firmly believe that this is achieved through inspiring teaching, a safe and caring environment, expert advice and guidance, and a wide range of high quality enrichment opportunities. Our aim is for all students to develop their knowledge, talents and values so that they can be successful and make a positive contribution to their community.

The academy vision is ‘working together, supporting individuals’. Fundamental to the success of all students is a strong, supportive partnership between the home and the academy. It is vital that communication is clear and regular, that parents/carers remain closely involved in their child’s education and that the academy shares information about their progress in a timely manner.
