Monday to Thursday 07:00-15:00, Friday 07:00 – 14.30, 37 hours a week, 42 weeks 

REQUIRED FOR 1ST SEPTEMBER 2017 

Following a recent support staff restructure, The Buckingham School is delighted to seek to appoint a dynamic, independent and forward-thinking MIS and Cover Manager. This position is a key role which will provide an outstanding level of support and service to The Buckingham School requiring great attention to detail, clear communication and the ability to work closely with other colleagues across the school.

As the school’s MIS manager, you will be responsible for ensuring data held on SIMS is complete and up to date, and SIMS is efficiently maintained ensuring accuracy of reports and efficient management of year-end processes. In addition, you will be required to ensure that that the information from SIMS to Go4Schools is consistent and you will also manage the timetable and submission of statutory returns.

You will also have the responsibility for Cover Management including cover requests and staff absence administration and reporting. 

You will have:

· Expert knowledge and extensive experience of all SIMS modules

· High attention to detail and the ability to solve problems and drive new processes

· A high degree of motivation to be fully committed to work in a school environment

· The skills to promote a positive image of the school through your work

· The ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team

· Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
