The Sheffield Private School is a 3-18 Co-ed British curriculum school, located in the north of Dubai.

The school follows the EYFS curriculum in its Foundation Stage year groups and the KS1 and KS2 English National Curriculum in Primary Years 1 to 6.  In Secondary, students follow the KS3 English National Curriculum before taking IGCSE subjects in Years 10 and 11 and either A Level or BTEC in Years 12 and 13. Students graduate from The Sheffield Private School to universities across the world, including the UK.

The school serves a wide range of nationalities, with most students holding Indian subcontinent or Arab country passports. There are a few local Emirati students in the school, but these are in the minority. 

As a school founded in 2004, it has at its core a set of parents that have a strong community spirit and have been committed to the school for a number of years as their children pass through their educational journey with us.

The Opportunity

The Sheffield Private School is looking to appoint an experienced MIS and Data Administrator, iSAMS Manager to join the school as soon as possible. He or She should be available in UAE and should have experience of working with education institutes/Dubai based Schools. He or She will be responsible for :

1. Development and maintenance of school Management Information system – iSAMS
2. Build School timetable using Keith Johnson or any timetabling software experience
3. Liaise with Examination Officer regarding external/internal data produced from the examination process
4. Setup and maintain new iSAMS modules
5. Setup and manage user accounts and permissions
6. Monitor user access and security
7. Provide support to system users for general tasks
8. Prepare and manage academic year start and end processes
9. Co-ordinate the integration and ongoing development of relevant data, processes and procedures into the school’s existing information management infrastructure
10. Communicate with teachers with regards to student entry
11. Assist with production of internal school data, whole school and department data for analysis.
12. Support the Principal and SLT with appropriate and accurate data for various reports
13. Produce relevant data for school report cards
