The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an MIS Officer to join our busy MIS and Exams Department.

The main responsibilities will include:

•To form part of a dedicated enrolment team offering an online enrolment service for students and ID badge production.

•To check/monitor online attendance input by Tutors on a daily basis.

•Respond to enquiries from learners, parents and authorised third parties about enrolment queries and resolve any issues.

•To ensure all courses have a timetable and an Official College registers either online or paper, building & updating registers on the system.

•Administrate and organise all of the student record information held across the College in accordance with specific regulations and to ensure daily priorities of the MIS Team are met.

This role will play a vital part in achieving the Colleges Mission and Vision as this post will support essential functions of the MIS Team which play a key role in accurate management of College data.

Annual leave  

Academic staff are entitled to 40 days per annum (pro rata for part time staff) for the academic year 01 September to 31 August and this is in addition to the Bank and Public Holidays normally observed in England and Wales. 

Business Support staff are entitled to 30 days per annum (pro rata for part time staff) for the academic year 01 September to 31 August and this is in addition to the Bank and Public Holidays normally observed in England and Wales. 

College Management Team are entitled to 35 days per annum (pro rata for part time staff) for the academic year 01 September to 31 August and this is in addition to the Bank and Public Holidays normally observed in England and Wales.  

The College is closed for 2 weeks during the student Christmas break during which time all staff are granted additional leave to be taken at this time.

The College provides on its campus free secure parking to our staff and bike racks. We are located on local bus routes and are conveniently 20 minutes’ walk from Macclesfield train station.
