Doha College is a high profile leading British international school, for children aged 3-18, with a focus on developing a growth mindset within our students and staff. We offer a well-balanced, all-embracing curriculum that follows the UK National Curriculum.

We are now looking to appoint a Spanish speaker to work as a part-time Modern Foreign Languages Assistant to assist the language teacher with classes, to provide support to students and to prepare materials for lessons. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing students for their GCSE and A level examinations by improving their confidence in communicating in the target language. The post holder will also help classes to become more interactive and fun through discussing contemporary aspects of Spanish youth culture such as current affairs, education, sports, films, TV, lifestyles, celebrations and fashion.

You will be working in a friendly and supportive team and in a school where languages are continuing to grow in popularity.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish and will have some experience working with young people and an understanding of their needs. The ability to speak another language, such as French, Arabic or German would be a distinct advantage.

This is a permanent position and only candidates with family sponsorship currently residing in Qatar will be considered. This is a part-time position for two days per week. A high standard of written and spoken English is an essential requirement for all our positions.

This position will be based at our Al Waab Campus.
