St Edward's Oxford is seeking a dedicated Modern Foreign Languages Technician to play an integral role in ensuring the smooth running of the Modern Languages department. Knowledge of one or more foreign languages would be an advantage but is not required.

As a MFL Technician you will be responsible for a range of essential technical and administrative tasks. You will maintain, set-up and operate electronic equipment within the department, and will deal with technical problems as they arise, liaising with the IT Department when necessary. You will also provide administrative support to teachers and will maintain the departmental archives, as well as undertaking additional tasks including ordering and organising the distribution of books, periodicals, subscriptions, etc. 

You will be an organised and task-orientated individual, with an understanding of the needs of a large and busy school department. You will possess excellent IT skills and will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel etc. You will be prepared to work flexibly and swiftly through a range of tasks, maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude throughout.
