The Role

As a Multimedia Designer you will develop and produce multimedia pieces for use in print and digital formats on websites, in multimedia presentations and for interactive displays and exhibits. You will also be able to create visual concepts by hand and using computer software and digital equipment (e.g. film and photography), to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate our school community. You will also be responsible for developing the overall layout and production design for school advertisements, prospectuses, website design and management, newsletters, leaflets and digital formats for social media.

The Reprographics Officer aspect of this role will see you provide an efficient reprographics service to the school, i.e. printing, photocopying and finishing. This will involve managing and processing requests and performing basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

What we’re looking for

You will have an unshakeable belief that all children deserve an excellent school environment and your work will have a significant positive impact on students’ personal development, well-being and achievement.

You will advise, create and develop concepts for multimedia design and production that includes printed output and publications, printed displays, digital displays, online content and assisting with film projects.

You should show great communication skills, computer and social media literacy, have strong graphic design skills and a strong desire to make a noticeable difference.

Your will regularly work with teaching and non-teaching staff to assist with the delivery of creative, high quality graphic design and reprographic service.

You will also be able to demonstrate that you can implement systems that produce efficient and cost-effective use of printing and copying equipment.
