Music Co-Ordinator

Ratcliffe School and Oaklands Park School form the Dawlish Federation of Special Schools. They are situated in the beautiful coastal town of Dawlish in Devon. They are very successful and highly regarded residential schools catering for 165 students aged 3 – 19 years with Autism, communication & interaction, learning, social development and complex needs. Our standards in both education and care are very high and we offer a structured and supportive environment to all our students and staff.

We are seeking to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner for February 2018 or before. The successful applicant will be highly ambitious for students whatever their aptitude or ability. They will be required to teach Music across the age range, up to and including GCSE. The ideal candidate should be able to offer a range of musical skills along with the use of music software. There may be the opportunity to offer extracurricular sessions such as clubs and choirs. The ability of offer some Drama sessions would be advantageous.
