About the role:

As Music Teacher at Mill School Bury, you will be an integral part of our team who put the children and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will plan, assess and deliver outstanding teaching and learning using proven methods and approaches that enable all young people to learn, whilst ensuring that pastoral needs are also met. You will establish excellent relationships with parents and carers and inspire trust and confidence in pupils, colleagues, families and other professionals.

About you:

For this role, we are looking for someone who holds QTS, you might even be newly qualified and ideally you will have experience of working with children with SEND and ASC. With a proven ability to deliver high quality, lively and effective primary/secondary teaching, which engages and motivates young people, you’ll be someone who has a passion for supporting them to learn and develop, and you’ll want to make a difference to the lives and education of our children and young people. About us:

Mill School Bury, part of Kedleston Group, is an independent specialist day school in Greater Manchester, for children and young people aged between the ages of 7 and 17. Our purpose built state-of-the-art school provides a safe learning environment for those with social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) and those living with autism (ASC), who also face other challenges such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia and attachment disorder (AD).
