Teachers’ Main / Upper payscale (London fringe)
Do you have a real passion for teaching music?
Are you an inspirational teacher who believes in the potential of all students?
If so, why not consider joining our school and make a difference to our students. We want to appoint an outstanding and enthusiastic Music Teacher from September 2018. The successful candidate will be well-qualified to teach music at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 and be eager to try new ideas in a supportive environment. We follow EDUCAS board for GCSE and A level as well as BTEC and RSL at level 2 and 3.
We are looking for a teacher who will share our vision for the development of music and appreciate the impact that the subject can have on learning across the school. The music department has excellent resources and, following the recent extensive refurbishment of the department, we are very proud of having a Mac suite, new music technology classroom and a brand new recording studio. The department itself is led by an experienced and inspirational teacher who is committed to attaining the highest standard in teaching and learning. Exam results are excellent which reflects the department’s commitment. There is a dynamic and active extra-curricular timetable in place and you must be willing to take part in this.
Applications are welcome from teachers at any stage of their career, including NQTs. We offer excellent NQT support including a bespoke programme of training and mentors and there are excellent opportunities for professional development.
