Crestwood are recruiting for a Music Teacher to start at Easter 2022 but there is room for a flexible start date for the right candidate.

This is a permanent role, full time basis on MPS/UPS

We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 700 employees and over 5,000 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands.

These are exciting times for Crestwood as we are oversubscribed in Years 7, 8 and 9. Crestwood School is very proud to advise all stakeholders that our most recent Ofsted inspection rated the School as 'Good with Outstanding Features' - February 2018. We are a fully inclusive school with high expectations of all our students.

We are looking for a suitably qualified, motivated and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join us in our journey towards ‘Outstanding’.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivational Teacher of Music with the ability to play and perform to a professional standard who understands effective student learning through challenging, high quality and exciting teaching methods.

The successful candidate will possess the expertise to inspire and engage students, and will be determined to get the best from our diverse cohort of students, ensuring they make their very best progress. This will be achieved through planning and delivering engaging lessons, which will inspire our learners to succeed with the opportunity to each across KS3 to KS5.

The Crestwood School is a secondary school for children between the ages of 11 and 16. It is a coeducational establishment which was converted to academy status in March 2015. It is based in the town of Kingswinford, West Midlands, in Dudley. At present, the Crestwood School has around 645 students being educated at the establishment. 

Crestwood School and Sixth Form exists to provide an unrivalled learning environment for the young people in our local and wider community. Through our teaching and pastoral care we aim to develop independent young people with a thirst for learning. We encourage students to strive to make more progress than is expected of them.
