We are currently recruiting a Music Teacher to join our team of experienced IB educators 

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing each student’s skills, understanding and confidence in music at the appropriate level. S/he will also be responsible for creating awareness and enjoyment of music as well as raising the standards of students’ attainment and achievement. 

Educators with previous IB experience are preferred. As a minimum requirement, all applicants for teaching positions must have a first degree and an internationally recognized teaching qualification, or a Bed/MEd. International teaching experience is also desired.

We value professional learning and believe that the quality of the teacher is the most critical factor in student outcomes along with relationships. All faculty are expected actively engage in professional collaboration in and across the Academies and be active in the life of the students beyond the curriculum; all teachers support the co-curricular activities, residential life and participate in our Service-Learning Programme.

Please note that we are unlikely to offer employment to a spouse unless as part of a teaching couple and local employment opportunities are extremely limited. Current Kenyan regulations mean that we are only able to consider teachers under fifty-eight years of age who have a minimum of three years’ teaching experience.
