RBIS is a new school opening to pupils in September 2019. In preparation RBIS is looking to appoint enthusiastic teachers who wish to play an important part in the opening and future development of this new British International School in New Cairo.
Over the last five years New Cairo has rapidly developed into an exciting and vibrant modern city approximately 40km from Downtown Cairo. It contains all of the modern amenities you would expect from modern day 'new cities' and their related developments. The majority of private housing is located in gated compounds, road networks are excellent and the area has become a focus for International Schools, The American University in Cairo (AUC), Cairo Airport, new hospitals shopping malls and administrative centres for many international corporations and brands.
The RBIS Senior Leadership team is already in place and are looking to appoint hardworking and creative teachers with outstanding subject knowledge, well rounded classroom skills and a genuine passion for education.
It is expected that teachers have an excellent understanding of the National Curriculum and are up to date with current developments.
RBIS will welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers and experienced teachers alike. There is a comprehensive new teacher induction programme and full support will be provided to all new staff.
For all teaching positions we require the following:
1. A completed TES Application form.
2. An up to date CV including a recent photograph
3. The details of two referees must be included in either the CV or the application form.
4. A supporting letter of application, which should include your main qualities and qualifications, your reasons for applying to RBIS and details of your experience.

Salary package to be discussed at interview – The majority of interviews will be held via Skype. There will also be a round of UK interviews held in London and the East Midlands in late February and early March.
