2 days per week – Thursday   and Fridays 

(equivalent of 10 sessions per week)

1 year contract   initially

We   are looking for an experienced specialist music teacher with proven   outstanding practice to join our school team. This person will be required to   work 2 days a week as part of the PPA/Leadership release time. The successful candidate will deliver the   music curriculum from Year 1 up to Year 6, lead singing assemblies, play the   piano for productions etc as required and lead the school choirs. The ability   to teach Ukulele would be an advantage. The ability to plan an exciting and innovative music curriculum, and   deliver lessons effectively to challenge all children to achieve high   standards in music is essential. We   would be particularly interested in a secondary school music specialist for   this role, however all experienced music teachers are welcome to apply.

· Model   consistently good and outstanding classroom practice

· Be   committed to providing a wide range of musical experiences that will inspire   and embed learning

· Demonstrate   passion for learning and raise standards of achievement all pupils

· Enjoy   being an active part of a dynamic focussed team
