FIXED CONTRACT – 1 ACADEMIC YEAR

Our children and school community are looking for a Music Teacher who ideally has experience of teaching in a primary school setting and is confident in covering all aspects of the national curriculum Music syllabus. 

You must be:

  • an excellent Music eager to continue to develop teaching and learning in Music
  • able to inspire and motivate children to raise standards of achievement by being a fun, skilled and engaging music professional
  • confident in achieving a high standard of music provision across the school and demonstrate that consistent progress is expected of all children
  • willing to commit to extra-curricular music (choirs and shows)
  • able to successfully monitor, evaluate and develop teaching and learning using assessment for learning
  • experienced and skilled in behaviour management
  • willing to become part of a dedicated and hard-working team and demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge in order to motivate other members of staff
  • committed to support the values of the school and to work in partnership with parents and the wider community
