Smart Teachers is recruiting for a dedicated and approachable Music Teacher to join an independent co-educational prep school in Hertfordshire, from January 2017. This is a part time maternity cover role, which will entail teaching Music to a KS1 class five mornings a week. This is a caring school where manners and respect is encouraged and expected amongst both pupils and staff. The successful Music Teacher will join the school from January 2017, on a part time maternity cover contract. This is a perfect role if you are looking for flexibility of work in a positive and creative environment.

In order to be considered for this role, the Music Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor of Education/ PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree
  • Proven experience teaching the UK curriculum
  • NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers welcome to apply
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
