We are a family run, independent preparatory school with a thriving Early Years nursery at our school in Twickenham and a KS1/2 facility at our schools in Hampton. We are looking for an experienced Music Teacher to join our dedicated team where every child is encouraged to achieve his or her full potential in a dynamic and creative environment.

You will need to have a passion for working with children and to encourage learning in innovative ways. You will be confident and enthusiastic. You will be an accomplished pianist and may also have experience in other instruments, including string, recorder or singing. You may also have experience or training in musical theatre.

Applicants must have at least 2 years relevant experience of teaching music to children in either KS1 or KS2. You will be responsible for leading the music provision throughout the school including the curricula, extra curricula, concerts, exam preparation, assembly music and managing peripatetic music specialists. You will be responsible for the musical life of the school through community events, choirs and the production of school shows and concerts, alongside other music staff.

The role can be full time or part-time (hours can be discussed) during term time (33 weeks per annum) and may include four later start and finish times to include our after school club at Hampton until 6pm, providing individual and group instrumental lessons in piano, strings and singing. Occasional additional hours may be required to cover special events.
