The Creative Arts department at South Staffordshire College requires an instructor in Music Technology to support the pastoral care of our FE and HE learners through their 1 to 1 tutorials, to oversee Music Tech workshops and to support learners in attaining their goals, meeting their targets and staying on track. The role also requires instructing on aspects of the HE provision and in supporting of practical modules and assessment.
This is a great opportunity to play a vital role in supporting the Music Tech department, liaising with the teaching team and engaging with the learners to ensure they reach their full potential, monitoring their progress on the course and inspiring their creative skills and talents.
The successful candidate will have a number of groups to monitor and support, with tutorial hours and workshop sessions to facilitate tasks and activities, as set out by the course teachers, in addition to HE instructor hours and some entry provision.
To be successful you will have industrial experience and a recognised level 6 HE qualification in Music Technology and have level 2 Maths and English. You will have at least two years experience of working in the industry and have some experience of instructing or working to support learners needs.

Lichfield Campus, close to the city centre, is unique in offering further education courses, and also higher education in partnership with Staffordshire University.
