Job Title: Music Therapist
Part time, term time only, 3 days per week
Salary: £14,909 per annum (based on £32,760 FTE)
The Junior School has a great opportunity for a Music Therapist to join our team providing music therapy to pupils from Reception to Year 6.
The post holder will be required to plan, provide and develop music therapy session to both individual pupils and in small groups. In addition, they will agree therapeutic goals with staff and parents.
The successful candidate will have an honours degree in a relevant discipline; a postgraduate degree or an appropriate and equivalent professional qualification; registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) (or equivalent); and a proven track record of working in primary schools.
They will also have excellent musical or art, creative and communications skills, the ability to communicate effectively and clearly with individuals from diverse backgrounds, the ability to work flexibly and use their own initiative.
